At the Hotel Dolder Grand, the guests of the restaurant MIKURIYA enjoy a unique Omakase experience. This concept (translated, Omakase means “I’ll leave it up to you”) is the Japanese tradition of letting the chef decide. At this restaurant, it’s chef Atsushi Hiraoka who takes control of which meals are served. This form of eating is very popular in Japanese culture. With no more than eight persons per evening, the guests enjoy an 18-course menu featuring Japanese delicacies in the most exclusive atmosphere. By request, sommeliers pair selected dishes with sake, shochu or Japanese beer.
