Burgermeister

The story of this locale is like something out of a movie. Giuseppe Finazzo ‒ the “Burgermeister” (burger master) ‒ sold burgers on Langstrasse for two years. And many of the guests at what was probably Zurich’s smallest restaurant swore that they were the best burgers in town. So it came as a huge shock when the place suddenly closed down.

However, two years later, the Burgermeister showed up again – at a new address and with a new name: Burgermeister. So everyone started making the pilgrimage to their “master” again. And business is flourishing, which is why additional branches have opened in the meantime:

Whether or not the burgers at Burgermeister are the best in Zurich is matter of taste, but they are still worth trying whatever the verdict.
