The Alehouse – Palmhof

Set amidst the buildings of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) is the Alehouse. And as its name suggests, here everything revolves around “liquid gold”.

Whether craft beers from Swiss and international microbreweries, lagers, India Pale Ales (IPA), or barrel-aged stouts: this locale has something to suit the taste of each and every beer enthusiast.

The regularly changing assortment on offer is dispensed from 20 taps and one hand pump – which delights the eye as well as the palate.

The decor is minimalistic – but who needs beautiful decorations if you just want to focus on the beer? For guests with an appetite there is traditional pub grub, such as fish & chips or fried chicken.
