Marguita
The restaurant, Marguita, is housed in the tradition-steeped Hotel Baur au Lac, just a stone’s throw from Lake Zurich. Named after the mother of the hotel owner, Andrea Kracht, the restaurant offers top-class Mediterranean cuisine. For example, the signature dish: sea bass in a salt crust with tomato vinaigrette and caviar in a beurre blanc.
At the Marguita, a relaxed atmosphere meets modern zeitgeist. In fine weather, guests dine on the beautiful terrace, while the light-flooded pavilion is available when the weather is bad or the temperatures are cool. With a capacity for up to 120 guests and a kitchen team comprising 19 persons, the restaurant offers lunch and dinner menus.
The wine selection is curated by sommelier Marc Almert, with a focus on Mediterranean specialties. The experienced team, comprising Aurélien Blanc, Marc Almert, and head chef Maximilian Müller, guarantee a highly competent and friendly service.
