Zurich Wilderness Park Sihlwald
Zurich Wilderness Park Sihlwald is a protected forest reserve and offers plenty of room for nature experiences and recreation.

The nature discovery park Sihlwald by Lake Zurich has been left to nature. The beech forest provided the city of Zurich with firewood for hundreds of years but no trees have been felled here since 2000. An original beech forest has therefore become re-established, like those which once covered the majority of Europe: with centuries-old giant trees, an above-average proportion of dead wood – which serves as a habitat for rare insects and fungi – and an impenetrable thicket of ferns and shrubs.
The Wilderness Park also includes the following attractions:
Sihlwald Exhibition
