Mt. Pilatus in Summer
Mt. Pilatus – an impressive mountain massif to the south of Lucerne – is a popular excursion destination for people of all ages from home and abroad, not only in winter, but in summer too. There are a host of highlights in store for visitors – such as the largest rope park in Switzerland, where both young and old can master the appropriate climbing challenges, their hearts racing with the rush of adrenaline.
Besides magnificent scenery and a sensational panorama, there are numerous hiking paths of all levels of difficulty, as well as quiet spots to stop at and relax. In addition, seven restaurants serve delicious meals and snacks.
Incidentally, the trip on the steepest cog railway in the world is a particularly impressive and unforgettable experience.
The cogwheel railway operates from beginning / mid-May until November.
