Mt. Pilatus in Winter
Visitors of all ages are amazed when the steepest cog railway in the world slowly embarks on its journey up the mountain. But a trip on one of the two aerial cableways is also an exciting experience. No matter how you travel up Mt. Pilatus, once you get to the top the amazement continues as you take in the spectacular panorama and enchanting winter world.
Of course, you can sit down, have something warm to drink and delight in the breathtaking view. Or else you can race down the mountainside on a toboggan, minibob or airboard, whooping along the way. The region is also ideal for a winter hike or a romantic winter walk. And when hunger pangs set in, there are seven restaurants just waiting to spoil guests with their culinary delights.
The cogwheel railway operates from beginning / mid-May until November.
