Until now, Persian cuisine hasn’t had much of a presence in Zurich. That’s why kookoo, a casual quick-service restaurant in the centrally located Globus store on Bellevue, is so hotly tipped.

The food concept is simple: Guests design their own dishes, choosing between Persian rice bowls; a split pea, meat, or okra stew; fresh salad; traditional dips; and much more. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available, making Persian cuisine accessible to everyone.
