This stunning viewpoint offers a fabulous view over Lake Zurich, the Uetliberg, and the city – and yet, visitors are in with a good chance of having it all to themselves.

A short ascent from Klusplatz or a gentle walk from the Dolderbahn railway station Titlisstrasse take visitors to the wonderful Sonnenberg viewpoint. Its name is very fitting, as the sun shines on this idyllic beauty spot all day long until it disappears behind the Uetliberg in the evening. 

In the public Sonnenberg Park, the view of the lake and the city can be enjoyed from a row of benches that are rarely fully occupied. This is the perfect place for anyone looking for an idyllic spot for a picnic, a sundowner, or simply somewhere to enjoy the view.

There is also the option of stopping off for a bite to eat at Restaurant Sonnenberg, which offers a panoramic terrace and a tempting menu.
