Trendy Wiedikon

Wiedikon unites charming residential areas with multicultural flair, creative venues and beautiful parks. The 4-kilometer-long walk leads through animated streets, serene parks and historic places – and shows Zurich from its both urban and relaxed side.

The route starts at Bahnhof Wiedikon and leads through a residential area to the animated Lochergut continuing to one of the most impressive park cemeteries in Switzerland, the Sihlfeld Cemetery with its tree-lined boulevards and historic tombs.

We continue along typical Zurich turn-of-the-century residential buildings, pass small cafés and calm side roads to the popular Idaplatz – a meeting place with lots of trees, playgrounds and restaurants.
