Zurich’s Design and Industrial Quarter

Relaxing parks, distinctive industrial buildings, creative concepts and an idea of party culture: The approximately 5-kilometer-long route leads through up-and-coming and diverse neighborhoods north of Zurich main station.

This city walk starts at park Platzspitz and leads along the Limmat river to Oberer Letten lido. The route continues through the industrial quarter – past the striking Letten Viaduct railroad bridge with its design and furniture stores, charming cafés and urban flair.

The Josefwiese and nearby Langstrasse provide relaxed contrasts and complement the walk with a mixture of parks, trendy district and a variety of restaurants.
