Hoch-Ybrig in Winter – Ski & Snowboard Paradise

Hoch-Ybrig is a favorite destination for many in seek of winter sports and relaxation in the Swiss mountains. At the Kinderland Roggen in Oberiberg, there is plenty for young children to discover: they can effortlessly travel back up the mountainside on the “magic carpet” or have fun on the carousel.

In winter you can take to the bends on skis or snowboards or enjoy extensive hikes and ski tours amid the snowy mountain world. From Zurich you reach the base station in Weglosen by car in just under an hour. A modern cable car takes visitors comfortably to the ski area and the chair lifts reach a height of up to 1,831 meters (6,007 ft.). From here you have a magnificent view of the mountain ridge with the peaks Drusberg (2,282 m / 7,487 ft.), Forstberg (2,215 m / 7,267 ft.) and Twäriberg (2'117 m / 6,945 ft.).
